The highest rated player to date drafted out of the Texas vs. the Nation Game came today when the Houston Texans drafted Eastern Kentucky cornerback Antwaun Molden in the 3rd round, #79 overall. Molden had three solo tackles - including one behind the line of scrimmage - while playing for The Nation team in the 2008 all-star game.

Last year, the Oakland Raiders drafted Cincinnati cornerback John Bowie (#110 overall) and the Denver Broncos selected Florida defensive tackle Marcus Thomas (#121 overall) in the fourth round.

The third annual Texas vs. the Nation All-Star Challenge is already scheduled for Saturday, January 31st, 2009 at the Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas.
