Collegiate All-Star Bowl to Hold City Hall Press Conference
Aug. 23, 2006 EL PASO, TEXAS - The Texas Vs. the Nation collegiate Division I all-star bowl will announce their upcoming game in the Sun Bowl in a press conference tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. in the 10th floor conference room at City Hall in El Paso. The bowl's CEO, Kenny Hansmire, will officially announce the bowl's inaugural game to be held early in 2007. El Paso City and county leaders will be in attendance as well as a special appearance by bowl personality, Randy White, former defensive lineman and Hall of Famer for the Dallas Cowboys. The official logo of the Texas vs. the Nation bowl will be unveiled. The all-star game will pit top collegiate seniors with high school or collegiate ties to Texas facing-off against top players from around the nation. The game will also feature week-long local events including a "Legends of the Game" golf tournament to be headed up by Randy White.
